With the yard and arenas, the lodge, Annette’s hospitality and Andrew’s coaching skills it is only natural to offer short residential courses and training weekends.
Andrew’s enthusiasm for teaching dressage is equal to his passion for theoretical analysis and the presentation of lectures, demonstrations and leading discussion groups. As he sees it, a sound theoretical understanding of the dressage process forms the ‘instruction manual’ and is both a guide and trouble shooting device of the system. As senior lecturer for T.T.T. for 15 years, he is well practised in presenting formal lectures in a clear, logical and interesting way.
Andrew confesses to being a ‘why’ child and never happy with the answer “because I said so”. He has always sought sound reason and logic for his training principles based on a working knowledge of the horses structure and bio-mechanics.
Courses are tailor made to suit the interests and requirements of each group. We always try to match up a group of like minded riders at a similar stage of riding development who are likely to enjoy each others company.
We plan very busy days with lots of interesting activites in a friendly, encouraging and fun atmosphere.
We are also able to offer other specialist input such as equipilates and equine massage therapy.
The property at Lambley Paddocks also compromises of The Lodge which is a fully restored and redecorated four bedroom house in its own right. Equipped with three bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and snug with a log fire. The lodge makes a great place for a fun, relaxed evening with a good level of comfort.
Andrew’s wife Annette, herself an experienced rider and coach loves entertaining and is a highly acclaimed party organiser and caterer. She is able to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere around the house to compliment the work with the horses.
